Our Mission

Bring Hope, Healing, and Restoration to Our Nation’s Warriors

02

Our Vision

To provide military active duty, veterans, and their families with viable faith-based programs that lead to mental stability, physical strength, spiritual growth, and community involvement.

03

Our Purpose

The purpose of the FBVSA is to maintain a mature network among like-minded faith-based Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) to work as a collective as we advocate for faith-based veterans care to the White House, Congress, and other legislative efforts. We offer guidance and consultation to the DoD and Veterans Administration for the implementation of best practices in care for our veterans and serve as a non-government oversight and accountability of the DoD and VA on behalf of the veteran community. The FBVSA also advocates for government funding to help support and accomplish our overall mission.

About FBVSA

The Faith-Based Veterans Service Alliance (FBVSA) is a coalition of like-minded faith-based veteran service organizations standing together on a unified front to present to the White House, Congress, VA, DoD, and our nation’s people that faith-based programs are proving successful in offering real, lasting change to struggling active duty military and veterans that have lost hope in traditional treatment options.

3. FBVSA.org is a single location to find veterans organizations with incredible track records of success providing life-saving programs to our nation’s warriors.

4. The Alliance provides the most comprehensive pool of reliable data and this is critical in eradicating the veteran suicide epidemic.

5. We are a combined voice of millions of Americans who believe in faith-based solutions for our warriors and we will advocate to the White House, to Congress, the DoD and the Veteran’s Administration to see that our warriors get the care that they deserve.

FBVSA Leaders

Dr. Damon Friedman

Founder/ President - SOF Missions

National leaders are committed to combatting the suicide epidemic and improving the lives of our active duty and veteran communities. As an Alliance, we can multiply our efforts across the country. Each organization has a unique contribution, by joining forces, we have greater synergy, more power, and a farther-reaching impact. Together we are an unstoppable force for good.

Chad Robichaux

Founder - The Mighty Oaks Foundation

There is hope, and a solution found through a multitude of faith-based VSOs (Veteran Service Organizations) providing life-saving programs. Together, as an alliance, these VSOs collaborate in service to our warriors, while locking arms to advocate for public support, while assisting government entities with guidance and oversight. Our military warriors face many issues, but together we are bringing the solution.

Kevin Weaver

CEO - The Warrior's Journey

Military members and their families are facing unprecedented challenges, unlike anything the military has ever experienced in our Nation’s history. This Alliance will provide the opportunity for each of these challenges to be resolved head-on, with proven success. As we join our unique abilities together, every warrior and warrior family will find hope and healing.

Evan Owens

Executive Director - Reboot

If there was ever a time for organizations to work together to help our nation’s military families-it is now. Faith-based VSO’s are leading the way as members of an Alliance focused directly on meeting the needs of those we serve rather than our own organizational interests. There is no limit to the impact this Alliance can have in communities across the country

Rick Wolf

President & Founder - Soul Survivor Outdoors

The Faith Based Veterans Service Alliance (FBVSA) plays a critical role in combating the myriad of issues active duty military and veteran service members encounter on and off the battlefield. My MarineCorps career and Christian faith form the basis for my belief that spiritual fitness, or lack thereof, is a key ingredient to solving the negative issues associated with military service, most notably, PTSd, depression, anxiety, and suicide.

Victor Marx

President & Founder - All Things Possible

During my time of active duty in the military, we learned and lived by teamwork ethos to accomplish the mission and stay alive. But the harsh reality is that the number of veterans we are losing in non-combative environments is on the rise. Through this alliance, we have a critical new mission–unite to start winning and saving lives.

Dave Roever

President & Founder - Roever Foundation

“A threefold cord isn’t quickly broken.”
Together, we can accomplish greater things than we
can alone. As the wonderful organizations in this Alliance link arms, tremendous advances will
occur for our military service members. For years, I have worked with the military as a resiliency
coach. United as one, we will reach even more troops with the help they deserve.
